About the teacher:
Aaron Phelan
I am a singer-songwriter and self-taught guitarist (rhythm and lead) currently studying Commercial Modern Music – Songwriting at BIMM Dublin. Originally from Kildare, my musical roots run through folk, Americana, rock 'n' roll, and indie — think Jim Croce meets Kings of Leon, with a bit of Simon & Garfunkel.
Beyond the guitar, I am a multi-instrumentalist who plays keyboard, bass, ukulele, mandolin, and harmonica, and have a solid grounding in music theory and home production (I write and record my own demos using GarageBand). My studio credits include co-writing and recording a Pink Floyd-inspired instrumental album, playing lead and rhythm guitar, bass, and keys throughout.
On stage, I have performed my original material with the BIMM Live Band, and have backed other vocalists in live settings.
